Calculation Method:

The formula used for the calculation is:

NCV = GCV - (Latent Heat of Water Vaporization * (Total Moisture Content / 100))

Total Moisture Content is calculated as the sum of the actual moisture content plus the moisture resulting from the hydrogen content in the fuel.

Moisture from hydrogen content is derived using the factor of 9, as every kg of hydrogen when burnt produces 9 kg of water.
